some mad max fanfic doodles

i've been slowly chipping away at a mad max fanfic for a few months now, in which i attempt to rewrite furiosa (2024) to my own whims. i set out to draw a lineup of my ocs, but i ended up just doodling based on some stuff i've already written. i have a wealth of chapters set in the green place and even more worldbuilding for how it operates as a society. here ya go!

i really like mary. or at least i really like My version of mary. from the very start of this fic's conception, i knew i wanted mary to have grown up in the wasteland. as it is now, she just happened to be taken in by the mothers of the green place Right On Time to have furiosa. she needs some time to adjust....

i think it's really funny when babies just do Not hold back on their facial expressions.

they're like utena and wakaba. to me.

i didn't like the treatment of furiosa's hair in the new movie. i can fix it. i have to fix it. as a kid, i didn't think i was Allowed to hate my hair, but the hatred was Definitely there. it just seemed like no matter what i did, my hair was never clean/brushed enough. i have years and years of experiences and feelings to draw on for this, Lol .

furiosa and gudgeon (one of Many ocs) are frenemies, i think. they kinda can't stand each other, but at the same time, they understand each other better than most. gudgeon's mom also came from the wasteland (and serves as a foil to mary); i think that's one reason why they kinda just Get each other. also, k.t.--i've taken a Lot of liberties with the role of initiate mother, but in one sense it's still a lot like a teacher, specifically of kids 5-10. she's pretty hands-off with a lot of stuff, mostly to preserve her own sanity/energy. initiate mother is a big job in the green place.....

this is my oc, frigg. she sucks a little bit. Lol
